Carl E. Jones, 79, of Lincoln,
passed away may 23, 2021.
Private family burial was held.
Carl was born June 14, 1941 in Springfield, IL., the
son of Earl Jones and Fern (Hughes). He married
Shirley Crawford on August 10, 1963.
Carl was a life long farmer. He began farming with
his father and very reluctantly retired in 2006. He
raised hogs and loved anything John Deere.
Survivors include his wife Shirley Jones; son Kurt
(Christina) Jones; and 3 step grandchildren; his
half sister Sarah (Neal) Norris also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his half
sister Betty.
Memorial donations may be made to the Logan County
Paramedic Association.
