Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Announces 2020 Student Awards

[June 22, 2021]  The Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is pleased to announce the outstanding seniors in Logan and Mason Counties for the DAR Good Citizen Award.

Each high school selected a senior based on the following criteria: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. A certificate and pin were presented to each outstanding senior.

The 2021 winners are the following:

  • Hattie Langley, Hartsburg-Emden High School

  • Julie Auxier, Illini Central High School

  • Rylan Lindley, Mt. Pulaski High School

The Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution has announced the outstanding eighth graders in Logan and Mason Counties for the Excellence in American History Award. Each middle/junior high school selected an outstanding eighth grade student for outstanding work in American History. A certificate and medal were presented to each outstanding eighth grader.

  • Reece Winebrinner, Lincoln Junior High School

  • Aubrey Good, New Holland-Middletown School

  • Peyton Sasse, Chester East-Lincoln School

  • Avery Rohlfs, Hartsburg- Emden School

  • Abby Jones, Mount Pulaski Grade School

  • Emma Baker, West-Lincoln Broadwell School

  • Parker Campbell, Zion Lutheran School - Lincoln

The 2021 DAR members that coordinated the awards were Marjorie Aper and Gail Apel-Sasse. The Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the DAR is pleased to present these awards to outstanding students for DAR Good Citizenship and American History.
