Tourism hosts Car Cruise-in Sunday, June 27th

of historic Atlanta offered before and after the cruise-in

Atlanta Tourism and the City of Atlanta
announces its second car cruise-in of the season on June 27 from
11am-3pm at Atlanta’s new Dairy Queen located at 102 Empire Street.

This event is free to attend and may
be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. The Atlanta Car
Cruise-In will run from 11am-2pm. Check-in will begin promptly at
11am. Participants of the car cruise-in will have a form to complete
and place on their dash for attendees to see the make, modal, and
year.
The Atlanta Car Cruise-In will feature live music played by Table
Four 2 from 11:30am-2pm. Table four 2 plays acoustic sets featuring
country music. Cruisers and visitors can enjoy both the cars and the
music. It is recommended that visitors bring a foldable chair to
listen to the music. Prior to the cruise-in, Country-Aire, located
at 606 E South Street, will be hosting Cars & Coffee from 9am-11am.
Following the conclusion of the cruise-in, at 3:30pm Atlanta’s
Tourism Director will be leading a free guided tour of the historic
downtown area. The meeting location for the tour is the Visitors
Center, 114 SW Arch Street.

Situated midway on Illinois’ Mother Road, Atlanta, IL is an iconic
Route 66 stop for those traveling the road to Santa Monica. The car
cruise-in will provide both travelers and locals the ability to
display and view their classic cars. The event is free to attend and
visitors are encouraged to stay and enjoy the cars, music, and food.
Dairy Queen will be providing a car cruise-in deal for those in
attendance. |
