Golf Outing to benefit Deputy Scott Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund planned fur July 16th

The Committee for the Scott Brown Scholarship Fund is announcing the First Annual Golf Outing to raise money for the memorial fund. The golf outing is scheduled for July 16th at the Elk’s golf course in Lincoln. There will be two shotgun starts; 8:00 A.M. and 1:00 PM. (depending on amount of entries)

As you are aware an event of this nature is not possible without the support of the community, businesses, family and friends. Below is a price list for hole sponsors and we ask for any donations so we can raise funds for a very honorable cause. All of the money raised will be used to carry on Deputy Scott Browns mission and belief that everyone needs a helping hand sometime and “Everyone is a role model. Choose to be a good one.” Your donation is very much appreciated.

If you would rather sponsor a hole during the golf outing, sponsorship fees are as follows:

Platinum - $500 includes team entry fee
Gold - $300
Silver - $200
Bronze - $100

To make a donation towards our outing please call or email Rod Boyd or Christy Fruge at the information below and arrangements will be made to pick up the donation (s) or it can be dropped off or mailed to the Logan County Sheriff Department (911 Pekin Street) attention Rod Boyd or the Lincoln Police Department (710 5th Street) attention Officer Christy Fruge.
