On
Sunday, dozens of volunteers came together in Lawndale
to help sandbag around homes being threatened by the
rising water of Kickapoo Creek.
According to the National Weather Service water levels
on Kickapoo are at record highs. The water threatening
homes in Lawndale were physical proof of that claim.
The Logan County Emergency Management Agency coordinated
the sandbagging efforts.
