Obituary

Shirley Ann Marble, 78, of Lincoln, passed from this life into the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

Shirley was born to Preston and Lois (Lacey) Myers in Denver, Colorado on September 30, 1942. She married her high school sweetheart, Cliff, in 1960 and they made their home in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the next 47 years.

She was an active member of Ridgecrest Christian Church and the New Mexico chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America.

Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family playing games and telling stories of her childhood in Denver and at the family farm in Kansas. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, and researching and preserving her family history.

She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be missed profoundly.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Cliff, her children Lance and his wife Holly, Barbara Messner and her husband Brian, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her sisters Donna Gardner and husband Murray and Emily Greenwood and husband Dave, niece, nephews and many dear friends.

A private celebration of life service for Shirley will be held at the Holland, Barry, and Bennett Funeral Home with interment immediately following at the New Union Cemetery.
