- Ruth Elizabeth Ackerman, 96, of Lincoln passed away
on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at St. Clara’s Manor in Lincoln.

Obituary
Ruth Elizabeth Ackerman, 96, of
Lincoln passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021,
at St. Clara’s Manor in Lincoln.
Ruth was born on December 16, 1924 in Hartsburg, the
daughter of Carl William and Lena (Skonetski) Ramlow.
Ruth married Marvin C. Ackerman on March 22, 1944 in
Emden. Marvin preceded her in death on January 21,
2002.
Ruth is survived by her daughters:
Phyllis Cosby of Lincoln and Wilma (Gary) Donath of
Athens; one daughter-in-law: Carla Ackerman of
Lincoln; seven grandchildren and fourteen great
grandchildren; one sister: Lena Ingram.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; her
husband Marvin, her son: Marvin Eugene, two sisters,
two brothers and one granddaughter. |
Ruth was a member of the First United
Methodist Church and taught Sunday School for 25
years. She was a 4-H leader for 25 years.
A private family service will be held.
Memorial donation may be made in Ruth’s name to St.
Clara’s Manor or Donor’s Choice.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
