Spring is fast approaching and planting time will soon begin. This
also applies to the planting of new trees on public property
(boulevards). A lot of residents in this community have large vacant
spaces on their boulevards that could accommodate new trees. Many of
the trees in our town are failing due to age or disease and we lose
parts of several each year to mother nature’s wrath. Growing a large
tree takes several generations to become maximum size.
We are asking our residents to complete a Tree request form" for new
planting, (please see attached form), complete it, and return it to
the white drop box at City Hall or email it to this email address.
Mark the space where you would like to put the tree. Your tree
committee will measure and check your space. The city will reimburse
up to $50 toward the cost of the tree, with paid receipt. Please
help us improve our city and set the stage for generations to come.

Thanking each of you in advance for willingness to care for your new plantings
and other smaller ones during times of drought.
Thank you on behalf of the Tree Committee.
