Mount Pulaski crushes Argenta-Oreana 80-45

[March 15, 2021]  The Mount Pulaski Hilltoppers defeated the Argenta-Oreana Bombers Wednesday night 80-45.

Mount Pulaski jumped out to a 25-7 first quarter lead over the Bombers. By halftime Mount Pulaski’s lead was 42-23. A 30-point lead was the result of another big quarter in the third for the Hilltoppers. Mount Pulaski headed into the final quarter on top 66-36.

The 80-45 win was quick and easy with the Hilltoppers placing 12 players in the scoring column.

Lane Murphy led the way with 13 points. Gavin Smith tossed in 12 points for the Hilltoppers.

In the JV game the Hilltoppers won 42-18 over Argenta-Oreana. Alec Martin led Mount Pulaski with 12 points.

The Hilltoppers improved to 10-4 on the season.
