“Hop Around Downtown” the last week in March
Easter Bunny to visit with guests at the Lincoln Depot Visitors Center March 27th

[March 23, 2021]     It feels like Spring has arrived and, with that, preparations for Easter. This year promises to be a more normal-feeling season when compared to last year’s quarantine.

Hopefully you will be able to celebrate with family and loved ones this year. Whatever your plans are, merchants from Downtown Lincoln have planned some fun Easter happenings during an event called “Hop Around Downtown”

“Hop Around Downtown” will take place the last week of March until April 3rd! The event will kick off with a visit from the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 27th! Please bring your family and stop by the Logan County Visitor Center at The Lincoln Depot (101 N. Chicago St.) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to visit the Easter Bunny and take a picture. Make sure to have your phones or cameras ready to capture the moment. Please wear masks and remember to practice social distancing.

Take some time during the entire week to hop around Downtown Lincoln for a chance to get coupons and discounts to participating downtown businesses. Look for the picture of the Easter Bunny in the window of all participating merchants. All you have to do is hop around and shop, eat, or drink at participating merchants to get the chance to pick an Easter Egg.

Participating merchants will have an Easter basket full of Easter eggs on display and some of the eggs will contain coupons and discounts from participating downtown businesses. The coupons and discounts can be redeemed throughout the month of April 2021! Feel free to hop around and stop in as often as you like!

In addition, feel free to pick up the Easter coloring pages available at participating businesses. After your child completes them, please return them to the business and we will place them on display!

Participating merchants are Copper Penny, Flossie & Delzena’s, Grieme-Arnold Insurance, Guest House, Logan County Title Company, Mary Todd’s Hallmark, Moksha Center, Pink Shutter, Sir Renna Tea, Small Town Creations, Sorrento’s Pizzeria, Spirited Republic/ Limerick Brewing, and Top Hat Creamery.
