Martin March Senior of the Month at Mount Pulaski High School

Drew Martin, son of Erin and Doug Martin of Mt. Pulaski, has been
named March-Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski High School. He was
selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship,
leadership, service, and character.

Drew has
been involved in clubs and athletics during his time at MPHS. He has
been a member of the Baseball team for 4 year and the Basketball
team for 3 years. He participated in FFA for 4 years; he currently
serves as the President and served as Sentinel last school year. He
also participated in Spanish Club for 3 years and Prom Committee for
1 year.
Drew has also earned awards for sports and extracurricular
activities. In FFA he earned the FFA Section 14 STAR Farmer award.
For Baseball he has been awarded 1st All-Area and 1st All-Conference
and earned 2 years of honorable mention in Basketball.
Outside of school Drew helps on his family farm-Martin Family Farms.

Drew plans to attend Heartland Community College to study Ag
Business and play Baseball. He plans to then transfer to a university to
continue his studies and playing Baseball.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman
Service and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc.. They
are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by
Illinois National Bank.
