[March 24, 2021]  LINCOLN - Judy A. Morrow, 86, of Lincoln passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at St. Clara's Rehab and Senior Care Center in Lincoln.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at the church

Funeral home: Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln     

Obituary

Judy A. Morrow, 86, of Lincoln passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2021 at St. Clara's Rehab and Senior Care Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Jeffrey G. Laible officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Judy Ann Malerich was born on December 1, 1934 in Lincoln the daughter of David "Buck" and Ruth (Anderson) Malerich. She was united in marriage to Clarence "Tuffy" Morrow on May 30, 1955. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1977.

She is survived by her five children: Jan (Dave) Massey, David Morrow, Caryn Williamson, Ed (Karen) Morrow, and Tia (Chris) Taylor-Coyne, nine grandchildren: Heather Morrow, Jared Williamson, Alexandria Taylor, Jade Williamson, Bobbi Coziahr, Jenna Williamson, Alaina Taylor, Davy Morrow, and Kristie Morrow, and her favorite cousins: Sandi (Wayne) Benant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother: Lawrence "Larry" "Jug" Malerich, and her special friend: Leonard Krapp.

Judy graduated from the Lincoln Community High School and lived her entire life in Lincoln. She was employed at the Lincoln Development Center for twenty -four years.

Funeral Director

She was then elected to the office of Circuit Clerk of Logan County holding that office for sixteen years.

Judy was very civic minded and always looked to better her community. She was a founding member of the local CEFCUE and the Lincoln Senior Citizen Center. She also served on the board of the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital as Treasurer and President of Health Services. She also served on the Central Illinois Food Bank .

She was an active member of many community organizations: The Logan County Democrat Women, The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary VFW Auxiliary, American Business Women's Association, ISEA, The March of Dimes, 4-H, United Way, AARP, Community Concert Association, Salvation Army, UNICEF, Junior League of Women Voter's, Holy Family Church, American Heart Association, and the Illinois Association of Circuit Clerks.
Judy and Tuffy were well known for their one of a kind Christmas display, that became a tradition for many Lincoln families to visit on Christmas eve.

Memorials may be made to the Oasis Senior Center or Holy Family Church.
