She was preceded in death by her siblings Phillip Birkner, Helena “Lena” Wilhelm, Christine Birkner, Joseph Birkner, Conrad Birkner, Frederick Birkner, Andrew Birkner, and Herman Birkner.

Rose was highly dedicated to her family, spending most of her life as a caregiver for first her children and later her grandchildren. Her home was always open to family and friends, and she was always ready to provide anything they may need. Even after her children and grandchildren were grown, family night was a highlight of her week, and all members of the family in the area were welcome to attend. No one left Rose’s house without a hug, and you always left feeling loved and cared for.
