Obituary
Eddie Richard White, 73, of
Lincoln, passed away March 24, 2021 at his home.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. Private family services will
be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery at a later
date.
Ed was born September 21, 1947 in Springfield, the
son of Richard Dalton White and Lillian Louise
(Brown). He married Maureen Maas on May 21, 1988. He
proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Ed
retired from Caterpillar after 35 years of service.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church of
Christ. He was also a member of the Lincoln
Sportsman’s Club, Pheasants Forever, and was proud
to be a lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed
shooting trap, hunting, fishing, a cheap cigar, and
a stiff drink.

Survivors include his wife Maureen White; daughter Angie White
(fiancé Natalie); step-children Carla (Chris) Cicci and Kami Mefford; and
grandson Payne Mefford.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Susan Taylor.
Memorial donations may be made to the VFW Post 1756 relief fund.
