Lincoln scored in the top of the sixth inning as Farnam led off the
inning with a single. She took second on an error by the catcher. Farnam
advanced to third on a groundout by Ryen Stoltzenburg. Farnam would be
safe at home after getting hung out to dry between third and home and
eventually getting hit in the helmet trying to score. She was safe at
the plate and Lincoln trailed 9-1. Later in the inning with Mya Kirgan
at third base and two outs, Chloe Johnston would send the ball to deep
centerfield where it hit the bottom of the fence on a fly. Kirgan scored
on the play and Johnston landed on second base.
