Obituary
Steven Joe Papesch, 61, of
Lincoln, passed away April 30, 2021 at his
residence.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. A celebration of life will
be held at a later date.
Steven was born December 15, 1959 in Lincoln, the
son of Richard Joseph “ Old Joe” Papesch and Nana
(Cecil ) Papesch.
He graduated from Lincoln Community High School in
1978 where he was active in Wrestling. He was
employed at Kroger for more than 40 years.
Steven enjoyed camping, canoeing, and the outdoors.
He was once active in the Boy Scouts. He was an avid
reader and enjoyed community service work with the
Salvation Army. |
Survivors include his mother Nana Papesch; his children Juliann
Papesch and Joseph Papesch; and his siblings Jeffrey Papesch, Jennifer ( Brandt)
Ryan, Holly ( Noel) Coady, and Jo Helen Reason.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, and his cousin George
Loeffelholz.
Memorial donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
