U.S.' Hoyer hopes to bring bill on Jan. 6 attack on Capitol to House floor next week

[May 12, 2021]    WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said Tuesday he hopes to bring up a bill next week establishing a commission to investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, but said this would depend on the outcome of talks between a leading Democrat, Representative Bennie Thompson, and a Republican, Representative John Katko.
