Lincoln's Jermaine Hamlin headed to Eastern Illinois University, Charleston

[May 14, 2021]    Lincoln Daily News has learned that Lincoln’s Jermaine Hamlin is transferring to Eastern Illinois University and will be taking his talents to the OVC. Eastern is coached by a former Illinois Mr. Basketball, Marty Simmons. Current Illini Assistant Coach, Geoff Alexander, also of Lincoln, used to be on the Purple Aces staff when Simmons was the head coach there.

This is an exciting opportunity for Hamlin. Because he runs the floor so well and is so athletic, we think this is a tremendous fit for both sides.
