Scholarships to LTEC Student’s Madison Orebaugh and Zane Hartman

On May 12, 2021, Kirby Rodgers presented $1000 scholarships from the
Lincoln Rotary Club to the Madison Orebaugh for earning Lincolnland
Technical Education Center’s “LTEC Student of the Year” and to Zane
Hartman for earning the “Ready for the Real World” award.
Madison was named the “LTEC Student of the Year” for her hard work
and superior performance in the LTEC Health Occupations Class. In
the class, Madison earned college credit from Heartland Community
College and received the required state training for the Certified
Nursing Assistant License. Madison is a senior at Lincoln Community
High School and is the daughter of Brandy White & Jeff Orebaugh.
Madison has been accepted to the Nursing Program at Southern
Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Zane Hartman was awarded “The Ready for the Real World” Scholarship
for his hard work and dedication in the LTEC Building Trades
Program. Zane has taken the class for two years and was involved in
the construction of the 1704 Pekin Street and 718 S. Madison Street
houses in Lincoln.

Zane also received college credit from Heartland Community College. Zane is a
senior at Lincoln Community High School and is the son Bryan & Kendra Hartman.
Zane is planning on attending Lineman School is looking at various options to
receive training.
LTEC wishes both students the best of luck on their future endeavors.
LTEC would also like to thank the Lincoln Rotary Club for their continued
support of our students and our LTEC programs.
