Jenny Mendenhall is excited and ready to join the team at Mount
Pulaski as an Instructional Coach.
Jenny grew up just down the road in Riverton. Upon high school
graduation, she attended LLCC and UIS for undergrad degrees in
communications and elementary education; she then completed her
master's degree in elementary education at WIU. She later earned her
administrative certification through the principalship program at
UIS.
Jenny currently lives in Williamsville with her husband, Mike (a
structural engineer), and two sons, Ryan (14) and Andrew (11). Both
boys stay busy with school and competitive sports. Family excursions
typically involve baseball tournaments throughout the Midwest in the
spring and summer, football games in the fall, and basketball
through the winter months. When they're not traveling for sports,
they enjoy competing against one another in pickleball, spending
time with family, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
Jenny has served in various roles since beginning her career in
education, all of which have contributed to her expanding passion
for teaching and learning.
For 13 years, she taught in the classroom at the elementary,
intermediate, and junior high levels. For a couple of years while
teaching, she acted as an instructional technology coach working
directly with teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum
and lesson planning.

She's also served in administration, most recently as a special education
administrator. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to join Mount Pulaski and
can't wait to get to know the students and staff. She's looking forward to doing
what she loves most in education - working alongside students, staff, and
families not only to build relationships and make a positive impact, but to
continually learn and grow together as well!
