Randle went 11-for-22 from the field and added 12 rebounds, four
assists and two blocked shots as the Knicks outscored the Bucks
94-60 over the final three quarters. RJ Barrett finished with 20
points, seven rebounds and three assists in his fifth
consecutive game with at least 20 points.
Derrick Rose added 23 points, eight rebounds and four assists
off the bench for New York, which dominated the Bucks in the
paint 54-28.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 25 points and added
seven rebounds and four assists. Grayson Allen had season highs
of 22 points and six 3-pointers to go with five rebounds.
Nets 96, Pistons 90
Kevin Durant had 29 points, 10 rebounds and five assists as
Brooklyn held off a late rally by host Detroit to earn its
fourth straight victory.
LaMarcus Aldridge had 16 points and five rebounds for the Nets,
and James Harden compiled 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists
but also committed nine turnovers.
Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 17 points, including a pair
of 3-pointers as Detroit cut what had been a 16-point deficit to
one point with about two minutes left. Kelly Olynyk contributed
14 points and 10 rebounds.
Warriors 126, Pelicans 85
Jordan Poole poured in a game-high 26 points as Golden State ran
away from New Orleans in San Francisco.
Stephen Curry contributed 19 points for Golden State. The
Warriors led by just four points at halftime before exploding in
the second half for their third straight win and their seventh
in eight games to open the season.
Playing without Zion Williamson (foot surgery) and Brandon
Ingram (sore hip), the Pelicans dropped their sixth straight
despite 20 points and 15 rebounds by Jonas Valanciunas.
Cavaliers 102, Raptors 101
Darius Garland made two free throws with 4.8 seconds to play as
visiting Cleveland ended Toronto's five-game winning streak.
Garland was fouled going to the basket after Collin Sexton had
won a jump ball. The free throws by Garland, who scored 12 of
his 21 points in the fourth quarter, gave the Cavaliers their
first lead of the game. OG Anunoby and Scottie Barnes missed
chances to give Toronto the win in the final seconds.
Evan Mobley had 18 points for the Cavaliers, who have won three
straight. Anunoby finished with a game-high 23 points while Fred
VanVleet had 18 points for Toronto.
Wizards 115, Grizzlies 87
Seven Washington players scored in double figures to complement
stifling team defense in a rout of visiting Memphis.
The Wizards held the Grizzlies to just three points over the
final 4:24 of the second quarter, then went on a 23-9 run over
the final six-plus minutes of the third. Montrezl Harrell, who
finished with a game-high 18 points and team-high eight
rebounds, threw down three dunks and scored a layup during that
stretch in the third.
Bradley Beal was next with 17 points and seven assists for the
Wizards. Jaren Jackson Jr. led Memphis with 13 points and nine
rebounds. Washington held Ja Morant to just 11 points on 4-of-17
shooting.
Spurs 102, Magic 89
Dejounte Murray posted 20 points and 11 rebounds as San Antonio
snapped a two-game losing streak with a win at Orlando.
Keldon Johnson scored 20 points and Derrick White finished with
12 points and 10 rebounds as the Spurs played for the second
time without center Jakob Poeltl, who is in the league's health
and safety protocol.
Cole Anthony's 21 points topped five players in double figures
for the Magic, who lost for the eighth time in 10 games and fell
to 0-4 at home.
Clippers 104, Timberwolves 84
Paul George scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Los
Angeles stormed back for a win over Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Reggie Jackson contributed 20 points for the Clippers, and Ivica
Zubac finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Terance Mann had
13 points for Los Angeles, which beat Minnesota by double digits
for the second time in three days.
Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 20 points and eight
rebounds. Malik Beasley scored 18 points off the bench and
Anthony Edwards had 17 points despite shooting 7 of 22.
Minnesota dropped its fourth game in a row.
Trail Blazers 110, Pacers 106
CJ McCollum recorded 27 points, six assists and five rebounds as
host Portland came from behind to edge Indiana.
Norman Powell scored 25 points and Robert Covington added 19 as
Portland halted a three-game losing streak. Anfernee Simons had
16 points off the bench and Jusuf Nurkic registered 10 points
and nine rebounds for the Trail Blazers.
T.J. McConnell scored 19 points and Myles Turner added 16 for
the Pacers, whose two-game winning streak ended. Domantas
Sabonis had 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Kings 140, Hornets 110
Buddy Hield made eight 3-point baskets on the way to 26 points
and Richaun Holmes ruled on the interior with 23 points and 20
rebounds as host Sacramento drubbed Charlotte.
The Kings sank 22 of 44 attempts from 3-point range, a nice mix
with Holmes shooting 9-for-12 from the field, all from inside
the arc. Sacramento maintained a comfortable margin for most of
the game, with the lead never dipping below 12 after the first
quarter.
De'Aaron Fox contributed 21 points and Davion Mitchell had 19
points for the Kings, who held a huge rebounding advantage,
56-28. Gordon Hayward's 25 points and LaMelo Ball's 24 points
and 13 assists paced the Hornets.
