Perriman, 28, joined the Bears in September after being released
by the Detroit Lions. He has been inactive for every game this
season.
A first-round pick by Baltimore in 2015, Perriman has tallied
125 receptions for 2,066 yards and 14 touchdowns in 63 career
games with the Ravens (2016-17), Cleveland Browns (2018), Tampa
Bay Buccaneers (2019) and New York Jets (2020).
Montgomery was designated to return from injured reserve on
Thursday and practiced for the first time since spraining his
left knee in Week 4.
Despite missing four games, Montgomery still leads Chicago with
three rushing touchdowns and ranks second with 309 rushing yards
behind rookie Khalil Herbert (351).
Montgomery, 24, has rushed for 2,268 yards and 17 touchdowns and
caught 85 passes for 672 yards and three TDs in 35 games since
the Bears drafted him in the third round in 2019.
