[November 15, 2021]  NEW HOLLAND - Muriel Y. White, 94, passed away on November 5, 2021, at the Christian Village in Lincoln.

Service:  Graveside services for Muriel will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Richmond Grove Cemetery in New Holland

Obituary

Muriel Y. White, 94, passed away on November 5, 2021, at the Christian Village in Lincoln.

Muriel was born on February 3, 1927, in New Holland, the daughter of William and Loraine (Smith) Barrett. Muriel married John L. White who preceded her in death on February 26, 2005.

Surviving are her sons: J. Timothy (Connie) White, James R. (Jane) White, and Rodney J. (Paula) White all of New Holland, seven grandchildren: Brittany Struebing, Lacey White, Aly White, John E. White, Connor White, Emy White, and Elly White. Three great grandchildren: Jacey White, Jack White, and Sophia Struebing all of New Holland, sisters-in-law: Mary (George) Fletcher of Lincoln and Gerry Barrett of Carmel, CA.

Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, husband John L., two daughters: Rebecca Lyn White and Margaret Ann White, and two brothers: Herb Barrett and Dr. Darwin Barrett.

Muriel was a member of New Holland Methodist Church and Eastern Star.

Graveside services for Muriel will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Richmond Grove Cemetery in New Holland, with Ryan Edgecombe and Rev. Dawn Beavan officiating.

Memorials may be made in Muriel’s name to New Holland United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Services are entrusted to Fricke Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
