The event will feature 5 private homes
and the community’s Colony House, one of the first structures
built when the city was founded in 1837.
Established in 1990, one of Central Illinois’ most popular tours
will feature turn of the century homes dressed in festive
Christmas finery along luminary lighted streets. Delavan’s
business district, listed on the National Register of Historic
Places, will feature Christmas shopping, instrumental musicians,
and living windows.
Tickets are available in advance through Delavan’s City Hall by calling
309-244-7146, or on December 4th at First Farmers Bank, 301 Locust Street in
Delavan.
