Obituary
Thomas Hashman, 79, of Lincoln,
passed away on November 17, 2021, a St. Clara’s
Manor in Lincoln.
Thomas was born on January 17, 1942, in Springfield,
IL; son of Arthur and Mary (Bowen) Hashman. He
married Linda Jacob on September 25, 1971, at St.
Luke’s Lutheran Church in San Jose.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 50 years: Linda
Hashman; three children: Kevin Hashman, Paula
(Steve) Crawford, and Corky (Brian) Stoltzenburg;
four grandchildren: Zach (Tiffany Boch) Lee, Emma
Stoltzenburg, Kate Stoltzenburg, and Evan Crawford;
two great-grandchildren: Preston and Braylen Lee;
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, and one brother: Robert Hashman.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran
Church in Lincoln.

He worked at Cutler Hammer, Lincoln
High School, Lincoln Memorial Hospital, and retired
from Wal-Mart. Thomas proudly served his country in
the United States Army, where he served in Germany.
Services for Thomas will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday,
November 23 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln,
with Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Visitation will
be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2021 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Burial at Mason City Cemetery will follow the
service. Memorials may be made in Thomas’ name to
Zion Lutheran Church.
Thomas was a loving husband, father, grandfather,
and great grandfather and will always be loved as
Poppa Tom.
