October LCG&HS meeting will include the history of Rankin Mill and a table-sized replica

[October 16, 2021]   LINCOLN - A history of The Rankin Mill, built in the 1800's at Rocky Ford on Salt Creek, will be presented during the 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 18th, meeting of the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society, 114 N. Chicago St.

A table-sized replica of the Mill, recently donated to the Society by the Lawrence Wilham family of rural Mt. Pulaski, will be on display.

In addition, LCGHS researchers will provide a history of the old stone house at Rocky Ford.

The meeting is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

A previously scheduled trip to visit the Tazewell County Society in Pekin has been postponed.
