[October 18, 2021]   Dorothea Schmidt of Lincoln will celebrate her 100th birthday on Friday, October 22, 2021. In her honor, the family is asking that friends and neighbors honor Dorthea with a car shower.

Dorothea was born on October 22, 1921, in Jasper Couty, Illinois. She moved to Lincoln in 1938. In Lincoln, she was employed in the clothing department of the Lincoln Developmental Center until her retirement.

Dorothea is the mother of one daughter, Rojean (Rich) Logan, two granddaughters, Paula LeeAnn Smith and Andrea Lynn Logan and two great-grandchildren Zach and Abby Smith, all of Lincoln.
