			City of Atlanta celebrates "13 Nights 
			of Halloween"

             The City of Atlanta, Illinois and Atlanta 
			Public Library and Museum announces its first annual 13 Nights of 
			Halloween October 19-31. Each night will feature a free event held 
			by the Atlanta Public Library and Museum, culminating in the Haunted 
			Museum October 29-31.

			 The City of Atlanta will be decorated for Halloween 
			on Arch Street, which is the former Historic U.S. Route 66 1926 
			alignment. This stretch of road goes right through the heart of 
			downtown. Visitors are encouraged to visit around dusk to take 
			advantage of the “eerie” decorations and lights. The City of Atlanta 
			will also release a map of decorated houses for visitors wishing to 
			experience more Halloween sites while in town. 
			 
			The list of 13 Nights of Halloween events are as follows at Union 
			Hall: 
			
				- 
				
				October 19:  4 p.m. - Scarecrow Graveyard. 
				Children are welcome to design a t-shirt to go on a scarecrow in 
				Route 66 Park.  
				- 
				
				October 20:  4 p.m. - Halloween jar craft 
				 
				- 
				
				October 21: 4 p.m. - Board game night with 
				Halloween treats
