The
festival will take place Saturday, October 23 from 10:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m. at the Creekside location, weather permitting.
Families will enjoy the Peoples of the Past Boardwalk and Timeline
dedication, the groundbreaking of the proposed bird viewing station,
guided nature tours, railsplitting and other pioneer life
demonstrations, stimulated archaeology dig sites for children, gourd
and pumpkin decorating, and other nature crafts and outdoor
activities.
Local
food, art displays, and craft vendors will be available on-site.

There is no cost to participate.
Creekside is approximately 4 miles due north of Lincoln, off of
County Rd 2000N halfway between County Road 1100E and 1215th Ave
(Google map address is 1234 2000th St., Lincoln, 62656); from Co Rd
2000N take the gravel road (at the large Creekside sign) north to
the Center.
