[October 23, 2021] The Chicago Bears placed veteran tight end Jimmy Graham on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday.

Graham, who has just one catch for 11 yards in three games this season, is likely out for Sunday's game against the host Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that Graham is vaccinated, but he will need two negative tests 24 hours apart to return to work.

A five-time Pro Bowl selection, the 34-year-old Graham has 700 career catches for 8,350 yards and 82 touchdowns in 175 games (129 starts) with New Orleans (2010-14), Seattle (2015-17), Green Bay (2018-19) and Chicago.

Graham is the second Bears player to land on the list this week, joining outside linebacker Robert Quinn.

The status for Quinn, who tested positive for the coronavirus earlier this week, and running back Damien Williams, who tested positive last week, is still unknown. Head coach Matt Nagy told reporters Friday that both players are still on the list.

Wide receivers coach Mike Furrey also entered COVID-19 protocols last week and missed last Sunday's 24-14 loss to the Packers.
