The route went down around Home Avenue and then
back up to a finish at shady Scully Park.

The top male finisher was 36 year old Clint Wombles with a time of
20:02.41.

The top female finisher was 31 year old Brittney Schmidgall with a
time of 23:39.81.
There were a couple of 'dig deep, give it all you got' moments.

Battling it to the finish line and giving it their
all to earn 11 and 12 were Steve Parrott (left) and Richard Donald
with times of 25:47.80 and 25:50.88.

Also it was Brittany Donald (right) edging out Chris Slaby placing
18 and 19 with times of 31:47.06 and 31:47.87.
The contests concluded with winded smiles and handshakes.

Immediately after crossing the finish line Stephanie Parrott
presented each participant with a fabulous Balloons Over 66 keychain
on a ribbon.
Lincoln Park District’s Fitness Manager and Pool Manager Jennifer
