[September 03, 2021]  CHESTNUT - Rhonda K. Jones, 60, passed away at 3:26 p.m. on August 26, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation:  9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski

Service:  11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home

Obituary

Rhonda K. Jones, 60, passed away at 3:26 p.m. on August 26, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Rhonda was born on April 18, 1961 in Lincoln, daughter of Wilbur and Thelma (Shawgo) Shull. She married John Jones on March 31, 1979 in Springfield. He survives her.

Rhonda is also survived by her children: Devin (Bailey Osborne) Jones of Chestnut, Damin (Stephanie) Jones of Pleasant Plains, and Daneil Jones of Lincoln; her grandchildren: Kaylynn Eskew, Kameron Jones, and Jaxon Jones; her siblings: Cindy Jones, Donna Leonard, and Ray Shull. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Roger, Darrell, and Nancy.

Rhonda worked at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital for 25 years, and before that she worked at the Logan County Health Department. She was a member of Clinton Assembly of God Church.

Services for Rhonda will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Face masks and social distancing will be enacted. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, (9:00-11:00 a.m.). Burial at Laenna Cemetery in Chestnut will follow the service.

Memorials may be made in Rhonda’s name to the American Cancer Society.
