A new city attraction will be created during the annual Atlanta Fall
Festival as chainsaw carver, Bud Hainzinger, has been commissioned
to carve an American Eagle. The carving will begin at 10: 00 a.m. in
Xenia park located at the corner of SE Vine Street and SW Arch
Street.
This monument is being created on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 to
honor our first responders. The Eagle will be mounted downtown and
will become a new Route 66 attraction.
Please bring your lawn chair and come watch this artist at work as
he creates our Eagle and spend the day in Atlanta. The Atlanta
Christian Church Mission group will be holding a bake sale at this
event.

this monument to Atlanta. Also thanks to Randy’s Tree Service for donating the
