Atlanta Needlework Guild and Atlanta Quilt Corner announce meeting cancellations in September and October

[September 04, 2021]   Atlanta Needlework Guild and Atlanta Quilt Corner will not hold meetings September 6, 2021 thru September 10, 2021.

There also will not be any meetings September 27, 2021 thru October 22, 2021

When we do meet, we are welcoming new members to our weekly meetings for needlework of embroidery, knitting and crocheting on Mondays 1-3 pm AND ALSO our weekly meetings for quilting on Thursdays 1-3 pm held at the Atlanta Community House basement. Our current charity projects include: hats, quilts, and receiving blankets for the nursery as well as quilts for the ER at Abraham Lincoln Hospital, Lincoln, Illinois: Quilts, hats and scarves for homeless: Quilts for Cunningham Children's Home, Champaign, Illinois: Adult bibs and fidget blankets for local residents and nursing homes: Receiving blankets, newborn hats, and bibs for Pregnancy Resource Center, Lincoln, Illinois.

We encourage interested crafters that do not wish to attend weekly meetings to contact me to receive information about picking up supplies, patterns, and directions to complete projects at your home, which can then be returned or sent back to me.

If you can tie a knot you can be a GREAT help toward the completion of our projects! ! !
