Lincoln Kiwanis announce 2021 Scholarship opportunity
Applications due by September 14th

 

[September 03, 2021]  In 2018, the Lincoln Kiwanis Club had a desire to offer a scholarship for a local student attending a local college. The funds for the scholarship are generated through the clubs Annual Golf Outing. With the continued success of the golf outing, the scholarship winner will be awarded $1,500.

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship a student must be enrolled in an Associate, Bachelor, or Certificate program at one of colleges located in Lincoln, Illinois. Colleges would include Lincoln College, Heartland Community College and/or Lincoln Christian University. The student must also be a resident of Lincoln. Scholarship funds would be used for tuition, fees, books and other school related costs.

Application requirements include a personal essay, list of extra-curricular activities, proof of G.P.A and a letter recommendation. All applications must be submitted no later than September 14, 2021. The application can be picked up at any of the local college locations, requested by emailing lincolnilkiwanis
