							As a

issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

            | To the editor: I want to
thank the community for the wonderful response to the veteran banner
program.  We had 89 banners hung throughout the community.
The city employees did a tremendous job getting
the banners hung, dodging the rain.   So many people have commented about the pride that
Mount Pulaski has always shown its veterans.   A special thank you goes to Mayor Bobell who
			encouraged me numerous times.

[to top of second column in this letter] |

We are accepting names of people who would like to
be involved in the program next year.  Please stop by Salt
Creek Attic of call Phyllis Beccue at 217-652-7314.
Please remember to thank the veterans for their
service and ask God to continue to bless our country and protect our
troops. Phyllis BeccueOn behalf of the Ladies Auxiliary
