The 18-year-old Tauson claimed her second title, having won in
Lyon as a qualifier in March in just her second Tour-level main
draw appearance. She also defeated U.S. Open champion Emma
Raducanu in the Chicago WTA 125 final last month.
She needed two hours and three minutes to put away Latvia's
Ostapenko. Tauson finished with 31 winners (eight aces) and just
six unforced errors -- none in the deciding set. She broke
Ostapenko's serve for the fourth time in the final game.

Paolini reached the final by rallying to upset No. 2 seed Yulia
Putintseva of Kazakhstan 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 in Saturday's semifinals.
