Throughout the
weekend at the National Railsplitter Festival in Lincoln, visitors
had the opportunity to step back into the past and get a taste of
what life would have been like in the days of Abraham Lincoln prior
to his presidency. |

As folks walked about the
grounds of the Postville Courthouse, they had the opportunity to
view various “camps” that illustrated such things as lard rendering,
blacksmithing and quilting.
The courthouse was also open and guests had the opportunity to tour
and view the information provided about our local history. |

In addition, the local boy scouts
were selling popcorn, Christian Village was hosting a bake sale, and
food trucks were available.
