Mount Pulaski Board of Education earns special recognition

 

[September 22, 2021]   The Mount Pulaski Board of Education has recently earned the Illinois Association of School Board’s 2021 School Board Governance Recognition designation.

This recognition is designed to acknowledge those school boards that have engaged in activities and modeled behaviors that lead to excellence in local school governance in support of quality public education.

Mount Pulaski was one of only 35 school districts in the state to receive this recognition.

Serving as Mount Pulaski CUSD23 board members are Eric Cowan, President; Deanne Mott, Vice President; Ashley Combs, Secretary; Chris Brown, Doug Martin, Rob Smith & Aaron Wilham.

Mr. Fred Lamkey serves as the district Superintendent.
