		 Send a link to a friend Throughout the 
			weekend at the National Railsplitter Festival in Lincoln, visitors 
			had the opportunity to step back into the past and get a taste of 
			what life would have been like in the days of Abraham Lincoln prior 
			to his presidency. |

			 As folks walked about the 
			grounds of the Postville Courthouse, they had the opportunity to 
			view various “camps” that illustrated such things as lard rendering, 
			blacksmithing and quilting.
 
 The courthouse was also open and guests had the opportunity to tour 
			and view the information provided about our local history.

			In addition, the local boy scouts 
			were selling popcorn, Christian Village was hosting a bake sale, and 
			food trucks were available.
