Humane Society of Logan County to hold open house and annual pet blessing October 2nd

[September 28, 2021]    The Humane Society of Logan County will host an open house on Saturday, October 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in celebration of their 15th year of organization, and 10th year in their shelter building.

The community is invited to take a tour of the renovated shelter and cemetery grounds, enjoy some light refreshments and have a chance to win a basket of goodies. Information on volunteering, membership and the Forever Home Cemetery will also be available.

Beginning at 11:00 a.m., Father Joe Dondanville from Holy Family Catholic Church will Bless the Animals, following in the tradition of St. Francis of Assisi.

The HSLC is located at 1801 East Lincoln Parkway, Lincoln.
