Obituary
Sharon Miller McCain, 71, of Lincoln
passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 in the
comfort of her own home with her loving family by
her side.
Sharon was born on November 3, 1950 in Granite City,
the daughter of Chester & Pearl (Haws) Miller. She
married Jerry McCain on October 16, 1982 in Lincoln.
Sharon is survived by her husband; her daughter,
Angela (Jimmy) Jones; her siblings, Sheila Wichmann,
Danny (Pam) Miller, David (Beverly) Miller, Jimmy
(Penny) Miller, Donald (Christine) Miller, and
Ronald (Shirley) Miller; her grandchildren, Jared
(Sarah) Hutchcraft, Kalyn (Patrick) Kolls, Megan (Kayleb)
Galvin, Gracie Jones, and J.J. Jones; and three
great-grandchildren.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and her
daughter, Annette Hutchcraft. |
Sharon enjoyed spending time in her
garden and listening to music, especially Loretta
Lynn. Sharon was the heart of her family who she
loved immeasurably. She will be missed by all who
were fortunate enough to have known her.
Services for Sharon will be held at 2:00 p.m. on
Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home, Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made in Sharon’s name to
The American Cancer Society.
