[April 11, 2022]   During the annual Logan County 4-H Foundation fundraiser dinner and awards on March 13th, 2022, John Fulton was honored as a 2021 Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame Inductee.

John Fulton’s remarkable 36-year-career with the University of Illinois Extension began as an agriculture advisor and then he went onto being a County Director serving Logan, Menard, and Sangamon Counties. Fulton served on multiple regional, state, and national committees and was an active member multiple professional associations. Fulton said that in all his years with Extension, the highlight of his work has been the people he’s met along the way.

Fulton is the proud father of three grown children, who went through the 4-H program and attribute their success to the knowledge gained in 4-H. He is also the grandfather to four grandchildren and the husband of Sherry Fulton.

Retired for several years, John Fulton continues as a proud supporter of the 4-H program in Logan, Menard and Sangamon Counties, and 4-H appreciates his dedication over the years and for the years to come!
