Darren
Bailey is one Republican who will be on the
June 28th primary ballot as the candidate to
oppose Governor J.B. Pritzker in the
November election.
On Saturday, Bailey was in Lincoln for a
"meet and greet" opportunity at the Lincoln
Banquet Center.

Mid-day Notice
The Third Street closure has been postponed indefinitely
As
part of the ComEd Lincoln MGP project, Third
Street between Decatur and Maple Streets
will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian
traffic starting today, Tuesday, April 12th
and running through Saturday, April 16th.
Full access to the Logan County Department
of Public Health will be available
throughout the week.
Question concerning this closure should be
addressed to the Lincoln Street Department
at 217-732-4655.

A
multi-vehicle accident involving this
semi-tractor-trailer cars and trucks
occurred Monday evening prior to dusk
blocking the southbound lanes of Interstate
55 at the 129-mile post for quite some time.
Traffic was diverted off of I-55 while crews
worked to clean up the accident site.
