							Obituary  
							 
							Joseph A. Reichle, 71, of Lincoln 
							passed away on April 9, 2022 at home surrounded by 
							his family.
 Joseph was born on May 15, 1950 in Springfield to 
							Vernon C. and Agnes (Willard) Reichle. Joseph 
							married Polly Pineda on September 13, 1986 in 
							Lincoln.
 
 Joe is survived by his wife; daughter, Rebecca & 
							David Garcia; son, Alex Reichle; mother-in-law, 
							Nancy Pineda; siblings, Lou Ann & Carl Corrigan, Jim 
							& Mary Beth Reichle, Jack & Tanya Reichle, Mary & 
							Luther Leesman, Jerry Reichle, Kate & Dave Becker; 
							brothers-in-law, Joe Pineda and Brian & Tricia 
							Pineda; his ten nieces & nephews; and his faithful 
							canine companion, Eva Gabor.
 
 Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his 
							father-in-law, Dr. Joe Pineda; and his 
							brother-in-law, Dr. David Mack, dear friends, and 
							several beloved dogs that he enjoyed walking daily.
 
 Joe was a proud graduate of the University of 
							Illinois. He held a Bachelor’s degree in Civil 
							Engineering. Upon graduation from college, Joe was 
							employed with the State of Illinois for 7 years. His 
							career continued with R.A Cullinan, now United 
							Contractors Midwest for nearly 35 years until his 
							retirement.

							Joe was grateful to Duane Cullinan 
							for hiring him and Mike Cullinan for not only being 
							his boss, but also a friend. 
							 
							He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals 
							and Illini fan. Joe was a member of both Holy Family 
							Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus where he 
							was a 4th degree knight. He was served as a 
							Eucharistic minister and usher at Holy Family and 
							volunteered at the Lenten fish fries. Joe was a 
							former board member of Carroll Catholic School. 
 A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on 
							Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church 
							in Lincoln. Visitation will take place from 
							4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln with 
							a Rosary service prior to the visitation at 3:30 
							p.m. Memorial donations may be made in Joseph’s name 
							to The American Red Cross, Holy Family Catholic 
							Interior Restoration Fund, or The Knight Alzheimer 
							Disease Research Center with Washington University 
							in St. Louis.
