				Sam Gleason (1-0) went the distance for the Railsplitters on the 
				mound. Gleason tossed seven innings, allowing just two runs on 
				seven hits. He struck out four batters and walked two.  
				
				  
				
				The Spartans took a 1-0 lead in the first inning. 
				
				  
				
				Lincoln scored two runs in the bottom of the second inning to 
				take a 2-1 lead. Colbie Glenn and Andrew Graue singled for 
				Lincoln and two errors later by the Spartans, the Railsplitters 
				were on the board. Jake Baker added a groundout to the second 
				baseman and the Railsplitters were on top 2-1.  
				
				  
				
				Lincoln added a run in the bottom of the third inning as Trent 
				Koehler scored on a passed ball. Koehler had walked in the 
				inning and made his way to third on a single by Trey Schilling. 
				
				  
				
				The Railsplitters added three more runs in the bottom of the 
				fourth inning as Trent Koehler’s fielder’s choice scored a run 
				and Daulton Miller’s sacrifice fly scored another run. Koehler 
				scored the third run on an error by the Spartans shortstop.  
				
				  
				
				Lincoln’s 6-1 lead was intact until the Spartans scored a run in 
				the seventh inning. 
				
				  
				
				The Railsplitters won by a final score of 6-2. 
				
				  
				
				Andrew Graue led the Railsplitters offense with a 2-for-3 
				performance at the plate and two runs scored. 
				
				  
				
				Lincoln improves to 4-6 on the season. 
 The Railsplitters will host Taylorville beginning at 11 a.m. 
				today for a doubleheader at Mike Curry Field.
