 It was a nice feeling
Saturday morning to be able to walk into the Lincoln IGA, and it was
made more so by the excellent bake sale going on inside the front
doors, courtesy of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
The church held a special Easter Bake Sale with plenty of sweet
treats perfect for the Easter dinner dessert or for snacks for the
kiddos throughout the day.
The bake sale proceeds are earmarked to go toward the church's local
mission projects.
Having these amazing community fundraisers on their premises is one
of the many things the community missed while the Lincoln IGA was
closed in 2021 and early 2022. The return of the store was just
another thing to be thankful for this Easter season.
