							Obituary 
							Kenneth Bell, 78, of Lincoln passed 
							away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at his home.
 Funeral Services for Mr. Bell will be held on 
							Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the 
							Jefferson Street Christian Church with Mr. Michael 
							Mallick officiating.
 
 Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 
							from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Jefferson 
							Street Christian Church.
 
 Additional Visitation will be held on Saturday 
							morning prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 
							a.m.
 
 Burial will be in the Lawndale Union Cemetery.
 
 Lloyd Kenneth Bell was born on March 18, 1944 in 
							Lincoln the son Floyd Kenneth and Gladys Faye 
							(Lowery) Bell. He was united in marriage to Sharon 
							Purlee on June 20, 1965. She survives.
 
							Also surviving are his children: Kris 
							(Tim) Hicks, Jeffrey Bell, Eric (Tanya) Bell, Kim 
							(Dan) Horn. Seven grandchildren: Shelby Bell, Taylor 
							(Anna) 
							Bell, Haley Hicks, Jackson Bell, Madelyn Bell, Blake 
							Horn, Kamdin Horn. Three great grandchildren: 
							Kensley, Skye and Paizley. One sister: Myra (Cecil) 
							Ott  | 
                
                 
							He was preceded in death by his 
							parents and one grandson: Brycen Hicks.
 Kenny graduated from the Lincoln Community High 
							School in 1963. He retired as a foreman from 
							Caterpillar Inc. Morton, in 2002.
 
 In his younger years, he enjoyed helping local 
							farmers during harvest. His hobbies included 
							fishing, hunting, bowling, gardening, watching 
							NASCAR races, coffee at McDonalds at 5:00 a.m. and 
							attending his grandchildren’s events.
 
 Kenny was a member of the Lincoln Christian Church.
 
 Memorials may be made to the Jefferson Street 
							Christian Church Kitchen Fund or St. Jude Children’s 
							Research Hospital.
 
 Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
