Community Action announces closure of The Hanger and Witz End
Close out sale starts August 1st

[August 01, 2022]   The Hanger Thrift Store is closing, and everything must go! When the downtown location of The Hanger on the Square closed, Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois maintained a micro-store at their corporate office location at 1800 5th Street in Lincoln. This store was open to the public but mainly assisted customers with emergencies or crisis situations.

A full liquidation of inventory from The Hanger and Witz End Online Boutique will start on Monday August 1st and run through August 12th. Shopping will be available Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Inventory includes clothing, accessories, small housewares, books and more. Everything will be 75% off the original marked price.

Starting Monday August 15th, remaining inventory will be $1 per bag through the end of the month. Shop the sale at Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois located at 1800 5th Street in Lincoln.

The Hanger Thrift Store will no longer be accepting clothing, houseware, or other thrift store item donations.
