Obituary
Cheryl I. Deming, 68, of Lincoln,
passed away at The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing
of Decatur on June 2, 2022.
Graveside Services for Cheryl will be on Tuesday,
August, 2, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s
Cemetery in Lincoln.
Cheryl Irene Teerlinck was born August 13, 1953, in
Kewanee, the daughter of Louis P. and Eulia Perrigo
Teerlinck.
She is survived by two sons: Jason Celus and Jon
Celus.
Cheryl was preceded in death by one son, Brandon P.
Deming.

Cheryl was a 1971 graduate of
Weatherford High School in Kewanee. She graduated
from Knox College with a degree in psychology. At
Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, TN, she
completed a Masters in Guidance and Counseling. She
was a member of Jefferson Street Christian Church.
Cheryl retired from Wal-Mart after 17 years of
service.
Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund.
